Under the Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, Parul University Gujarat was inaugurated in 1993 .Parul university comes with a vision to promote the overall development of engineering students, by guiding them in realizing their potential, and making sure that they evolve into responsible, deserving global citizens as well as skilled engineers. The university's mission is to develop into a "Global Center of Excellence for Engineering Education" that employs a student-centric teaching style and provides equal educational opportunities for all students, freeing them to explore, create, challenge, take charge of, and improve the quality of their life. Parul University, Vadodara was established in the year 1993.
The Ministry of Ayush, the AICTE, the Central Council for Indian Medicine, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the UGC, the Medical Council of India, the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, and AIU all grant recognition to Parul University Baroda. It is also accredited by the NABH and the Central Council of Homeopathy.
