In the year 2017, The university was awarded the Best University in Hospitality Management by EPICURUS. It also received the “Torchbearer Institution of India Tourism Award” by Think India and one Bronze by Christ University. It was also awarded Two Gold, One Silver, and Three Bronze and announced the overall winner by Hospitality Ensemble.

Merit Scholarship is provided to the students for UG as well as Pg programs based on their percentage in the qualifying exam. The university also provides sports scholarships. Some percentage of relaxation is given in the first semester depending on the National or State level of sports achievement.
All standard courses require an admission test, which is administered by the university itself. In addition, national-level entrance exams like the CAT, AIMA UGAT, etc. are also accepted.
